The First of the double race weekend saw us in Welkom, The eventful Freestate Challenge saw the break get to 3’40 then almost get reeled back in! Eric Kros spent the day in the break and got 4th place in the sprint! Well done to Gustav Basson (Team DMS) for taking the win! The 100km route was done in 2:06mins, it was fast! The very next day we were back in Gauteng for the Meals on Wheels N3TC Classic. Nail-biting racing was the order of the day. The Tufo BMC pro cycling boys kept it hard throughout the day to ensure a small selection rolled into the reserve. Once into the reserve, we had 3 riders in the front selection! Coming out of the reserve there were riders left in contention and the attacked each other all the way into the finish!
Well done to eventual victor Kent MAin from DMS Pro Cycling followed by Jaco Van Dyk, and the hard charging Eric Kros in third, who is taking some incredible form into @amashova next weekend!
