Jone was chosen because she is a young and upcoming talent in South Africa who has shown that she can be the best, especially in the XCO races.
She is a junior rider who currently lives in Potchefstroom, but she will be traveling to most of the races throughout the year.
Jone will be equipped with a HEAD Trenton II full Eagle gold package bike, full-carbon racing wheels, a Positive Sports Solutions racing kit, casual wear, a pair of RYDERS eyewear and a pair of LUCK MTB shoes.
She exhibits a lot of talent and we want to assist her cycling career in any way possible. The aim is that her presence and results at the junior XCO races across the country will create brand awareness with the younger riders.
“I was very excited and proud to be chosen as a brand ambassador for Positive Sports Solutions. It will be an honour to represent them in 2019,” Jone said of her appointment. “Cycling is my passion. I value honesty, integrity and hard work. These aspects will contribute positively to the brand and I will be an ambassador whether I am cycling or not.”
Jone’s 2019 cycling goal is to make the top 5 in the SA Cup series and her dream is to be in the top 3 in the SA XCO champs and SA XCM champs. One of her aspirations is to represent South Africa in the African XCO champs in Windhoek during April.
